19th Century Garnet and Rose-Cut Diamond Navette Ring
Antique ring centering a line of cushion-cut garnets of approx. 1.50 carats, in a rose-cut surround, approx. .50 carat, mounted in silver and 18k gold. 25mm tall, band 1.8mm. Circa 1890.
These navette rings are often called dinner rings, but we'd wear them all day, every day! This is a beautifully dark, poised, feminine piece of art.
Diamond and gold mining has caused devastation in areas such as Africa, wreaking havoc on delicate ecosystems and communities. Choosing to go vintage, you are eliminating the need for more mining and lessening the demand for new diamonds.
